TS Andrea

These pictures are of Beaufort Bay just across the street from the office about 9:30 this morning. the first of the heavy rain bands began about 12:30pm.
A couple more meetings then a very late lunch (is 4pm too early for dinner?) and it was time for to eat in a new favorite place...
The most delicious hamburger @ Fat Patties near Parris Island.
It was back to work for a couple more hours and getting a little more ominous as I prepared to drive back to Charleston.

I had to pull into the marina to play weather reporter for a few minutess.
"Yes, quite choppy out here, the wind is blowing and the rain is slicing through the air.
No, this is only the Beaufort marina, not the Charleston battery, and no there are no hurricane driven swells to sweep over the seawall.
So, back to you Jim Cantore..."
I paid for this indulgence by having to white knuckle the steering wheel as I drove the last half of the way back to Charleston through the wind and the rain.
