Bridal Portrait

 A few pictures of Carrie in her dress. The wedding has now been moved to early September and will be an intimate affair with a few of the couple's friends and family in attendance. The groom has changed his career plans and will remain in the US Air Force for another enlistment period. It is hoped Wes will continue to be stationed in Charleston.

Monday morning with Maddie

Ah, so cute and it is nice to have buddy with Carrie's doll, but it is 6:00 am and time to wake up as school starts in a little over an hour.

Maddie was still a little sleepy, even after breakfast in bed.

Maddie was soon awake enough to help make the bed and put Joise on the pillows for a nap.

Maddie was back this morning in time for a pancake breakfast. We helped Carrie with her wedding dress for Carrie's bridal portrait in the park. A picnic lunch by the pool and a long lazy afternoon with incredible weather.

Saturday with Maddie

We went shopping @ Tanger for new clothes for Mimi's house and school. We took Charlotte to Walmart, found some paint at Lowe's, then lunch @ Robert's. The afternoon was more kid friendly with pool time.

We ended the fun with a trip to the playground to wait on Carrie and Wes.

It was a good day as Maddie went home with Carrie after dinner for Aunt and niece time while Wes reported for night duty @ CAFB.

Thank goodness she went to sleep. Little Miss Dynamite was a bit cranky this evening. She is riding the bus to school so that means quite an early wake-up call as school begins about 7:20 am.

Monday and Back to School

It is the first day of first grade for Maddie.

This calls for a little trip down memory lane since time seems to be passing so fast.
