The pandemic continued as did virtual school, (mostly)work from home, and precious time with Felix.

April, 2020
April, usually a month of celebrations, was a quiet month. We were home the majority of the time, Instacart shopping for groceries most of the time, lots of meal preparation since we were eating from home 3 meals a day, 7 days a week. My birthday, Spencer's birthday, Gene's birthday, Easter, and Madison's birthday involved home made cakes and virtual singing with Carrie and the boys. Poor Spencer would not let his mom and dad cut his birthday cake until late on his birthday as he could not believe that we were not going to be able to be with him in person. Happy 7th birthday to Spencer and 14th birthday to Madison. Madison learned the joys of Amazon wish lists and deliveries. I bought myself a new bike for my birthday.
'The best part of the month was being able to be with Felix the JRT. Felix was 17 in February and it seemed that he would not make it long past his birthday. Felix had canine dementia, became incontinent, no longer barked, and would just walk in circles at night after sleeping all day. Felix rallied with us being home all day. He spent a lot of time with Madison in between Zoom school work.

March, 2020
Ah, March saw the world turn upside down. We had a wonderful first weekend in March as our family celebrated the wedding of my nephew and niece-in-law in Auburn, AL. Maddie was sent home from school on 03/13 and Gene and I began working from home the next few days. It was such a scary time. Charlotte began to work 40 or more hours a week without any protection. After a week of over 50 work hours, she was exhausted and afraid. She had been a 20 hours or less employee before the pandemic. We talked and she was able to take a leave of absence from work.

February, 2020
February was a busy month. We celebrated Felix's 17th birthday on Valentine's Day. We spent a day at SEWE. I attended the annual PAFCAF conference in N. Myrtle Beach. Maddie had a half day at school so she and Gene joined me and we spent the weekend having fun.

January, 2020
My brother, Jimmy, built and installed laundry room cabinets. Gene stained them. Great use of space.
