Christmas Eve
Last minute preparations, a lowcountry boil (shrimp, crabs, corn, potatoes and sausage) with some of the family. The first time I have spent Christmas Eve with all the siblings in a few years.

Recovery
Six weeks later Maddie was able to move to using the walker outside of the house and walking unaided in the house.
Two more weeks and now Maddie doesn't even need her walker. No contact sports for the next 4 months before resuming life as normal.
