Candice Glover is a native of St. Helena Island, Beaufort County, SC. Candice worked on Fripp Island until she began a run on American Idol. Candice has been my favorite thus far, but stole the show with these performances this week.

The Awendaw Green Bluegrass Festival in the afternoon for Mimi and Poppy while Kristy and the kids went to the Azaela Festival. Wes, and Carrie settled in at home with Spencer. Charlotte chose today to finally clean out her closet!

Spencer James Jacobs entered the world @ 2:20pm on 04/04/13.

Spencer weighed 9.49lbs and was 22.5" long @ 41 weeks and 4 days gestation!

Tuesday on the Isle of Palms

This is a busy week in Charleston with the Family Circle Cup, Spring Break, The Azaela Festival and the Bridge Run. There are long lines at restaurants and heavy traffic everywhere.

My present to me? A day of leave from work, a couple of paperbacks, lunch on the beach and a nap. The old lady sweater? A $5 find @ Wings as I forgot to bring a sweatshirt from home and it was quite windy and cool, but sunny on the beach.

No baby yet, but "the door is open" per the OBGYN as I went to Carrie's appt. yesterday. The OBGYN seemed sure the baby will come naturally this week.
