Behind The Scenes With Brad Pitt On 'Moneyball'

Moneyball is my favorite movie of 2011. It reminds me of other good Brad Pitt movies such as A River Runs Through It, The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Inglorius Basterds (w/ one of the best movie lines ever: "We're in the Nazi killin' business and business is booming.")

Jack and Maddie spent the night with us and woke up with lots of energy so we played on the porch before breakfast. We went to the neighborhood park later in the morning. They were worn out by the time they left for the Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch with Kristy.

Adventures with Jack

Mimi had the pleasure of spending the day with Jack. We went to an agency event on the old Navy Base, visited the (relatively) new waterfront park near the old officers' housing, then visited my mom at the nursing home. Jack is speaking in sentences most of the time and asks lots of questions.

Shrimp Baiting Season

Captain Jimmy and Castnetter Gene went shrimping Friday night and Saturday night. They "coolered out" both nights. The limit each trip is a full 48 gallon cooler.
