Thank goodness we had 60 to 70° days this weekend. It was wonderful to thaw out after a couple of weeks of winter. Home Team BBQ Friday night, Madison had a friend over Friday night until Saturday afternoon - lots of giggling! Poppy and I had an adult evening out on Saturday with some of his former workmates. Lots of time outside today.
My niece, Olivia, is at the University of Edinburgh for her junior year spring semester. She has been sharing pictures of some of her adventures. I loved the one of Loch Ness!

A Busy Week
Maddie spent Monday with her favorite babysitter, Cousin Katie ( who turns 16 today). Maddie went to Savannah with Poppy while I went to Columbia on Tuesday. Maddie went back to school on Wednesday as the holiday break had been extended due to the snow and ice. Maddie had a 3 day video EEG at MUSC Thursday afternoon thru Saturday afternoon. She tolerated her EEG hairdo, loved when she could switch to a battery pack and visit the playroom. Today, Charlotte treated us by preparing a delicious dinner.

Snow, snow, snow in the lowcountry
We had a little over 6" of Snow at our house on Wednesday, after about 2 hours of sleet. Wow, not this much snow in Charleston since 1989. Of course we have limited resources to deal with such a situation in the coastal South. Today, Sunday, is the first day over freezing since last Tuesday. Yikes, only 35°F for a very brief time. The snow has melted some over the past couple of days. Below freezing temperatures has meant that the melt just freezes for continued hazardous conditions.
Carrie, Wes, and the boys even had snow with accumulations on their property South of Savannah!
Charlotte worked on Wednesday (She and Poppy had quite the adventure getting her home) and a partial day on Friday. She did not go out to enjoy the snow otherwise!
