Chilly Sunday

Maddie is still on her school schedule so we were up early and decided to go to early mass. Mt. Pleasant and Awendaw, then back home for a nap. Maddie helped with some yard work in the afternoon.

We were leaving MUSC when we first heard the news. Maddie cried as she realized the uncertainty of terror. Thankful to spend time together this evening..

Rainy Monday, 72" This Year!

The ditches are full again, high tides and rain have caused more flooding. A day of leave taking Charlotte to an appointment, then Maddie to the dentist. It was Maddie's first day back in school after four months of a day program.

Cool weather, rain and wind.

A front came through during the night and brought much cooler weather today.

Make A Child Happy Day

Maddie and I had a fun day at work. Many area foster youth and families were able to enjoy this annual fall festival hosted by LOR (Lowcountry Orphan Relief ).
