Poppy took Maddie to the pool, while Mimi had to go to MedCare for antibiotics.  Yuck to pink eye at my age!

Back to Beaufort!

Another day trip as we have a new employee. Yay! The Beaufort office, a satellite of the Charleston office has now grown to two employees.

A Maddie Sunday

It was 109 on my windshield thermometer when I left USCB this afternoon! The actual air temp was only 99, but still hot sports fans.

Tuesday Tidbits

2nd day of school for Jack and Maddie. A day trip to Columbia and on call stuff tonight, ugh.

Maddie spent her last day of summer freedom making balloon figures, playing at the pool, and talking Charlotte into going home with her so she could take pictures of the first day of school.

Super Saturday

Maddie joined me at a work event at Folly Beach. Poppy took Jack fishing at Palmetto Islands.

Visiting Aunt Carrie

Maddie and I spent this mostly cloudy morning shopping and visiting. We checked on baby Joshua as he is now home after heart surgery. We then went to visit Aunt Carrie and Spencer. Maddie was deep in conversation with Aunt Carrie after Spencer went down for a nap.

Mass, lunch, then the Pirate Festival that had to be inside the Maritime Center with the afternoon storms.

We knew it was coming, but it is official now - the loss of the Civil Wars as they break up forever.

A Beaufort kind of Tuesday

Interviews this morning, lunch staffing with colleagues,  open house in the afternoon, and a drop off on St. Helena. A round trip of 12.5 hours today, but the scenery is lovely.

Monday with Mr. Blue Eyes

Charlotte babysat for about an hour until we came home. Spencer was very vocal about his dinner choices! The parents came back for dinner - a good way to end the first workday of the week.

A mostly adult Sunday

Breakfast @ Paneras (no kids), visiting the Children's Hospital of MUSC (where sweet Joshua is recovering from heart surgery), and then a late lunch @ Shem Creek.

Stormy Friday and Saturday.

Back to school shopping on Friday (Jack loves his first book bag as he prepares for K5).
Playing inside on Saturday until Poppy took all the kids (Charlotte, Maddie,  and Jack) to the movies while Mimi went to a bridal shower.
