The last Sunday of February
Poppy hosted the Sunday gathering while Mimi drove up the coast.
Moe's was a good choice for this group with Mimi out of town as it is never even a potential choice when Mimi is along.
A Drive Up The Coast.
A meandering drive from Charleston to North Myrtle Beach with stops in Georgetown, the Hammock Shop @ Pawley's Island, and a drive along Ocean Blvd.

Charlotte touched up the hallway paint this morning, a task she was assigned the week after Christmas!

President's Day
Jack visited his mom's old cat, Alley, this morning. Maddie, still here, went to work with me this afternoon on James Island.

Recent favorite movies
We saw August, Osage County this past Friday. This was a well acted movie, but the movie was quite brutal and there seemed to be no resolution at the end of two hours.
The girls at work and I saw Gimme Shelter this past Monday evening. We were the only other people in the theatre so decided it was ok to be vocal during the movie. This was a decent movie based on the real life work of Kathy Fiore, the developer of a faith based shelter system for teen moms. Seven social workers in a row certainly burned off a lot of work related frustration by booing and hissing at each appearance of the antagonist (bio mom of the teen mom). Vanessa Hudgins has certainly grown up and become a very compelling actress since her High School Musical days.
My favorite movie of the new year thus far has been American Hustle. A double thumbs up to the acting, sets, and music of 1978.
