Halloween 2018

It was the last day of the month so dress down day. A pirate princess it is, but no full costume for middle school!
Daniel and Spencer were also pirates, seeking candy treasure in Sylvania, GA.
A chocolate bag for later and a red dye bag to give away at the end of the evening.

July, 2018

This was such a busy month. We moved, a three day ordeal, as we moved out of our house on Thursday, had the closings on both houses on Friday, moved in the new house on Saturday. It rained the entire time. I believe it rained much of our first two weeks in our new home.

We had a visit from Carrie and family. There was a break in the rain for a quick trip to the pool and the park. Spencer and Daniel spent some time with Miss Grace the cat. Poor Vince escaped three days after we moved in and the search continues.

It was great to spend a couple of days with everyone, but we were back to unpacking after they went home to Georgia.

We also got to spend a day at Edisto with some more of our favorite people.

Maddie had a couple of camps including her favorite camp of the summer, a week of Art and Animals, at the Charleston Animal Society.

More transitions

Hopefully, our new house, contract signed, inspection completed, now the waiting...
Not the perfect house, neighbors all around, but wetlands to the rear and across the street.

A memorial, of sorts

The internment of Nancy, a eulogy by Jimmy, music by Gene
Lunch (instead of a wake) in Spartanburg.

Burning off energy in the afternoon in Saluda, NC.
                                                                    the boys
A rainbow in the evening from the deck.
