A Cold, but Sunny Saturday.

Mimi helped Carrie today and left a crock pot of bean and turkey breast chilli for the Jacobs for the next few days.

Going home day.

Spencer and Daniel went home after playtime in the park and lunch at Arby's.  Evidently, Spencer is a fan of the roast beef slider! Carrie is recovering at home. Wes and Charlotte will help with the boys.

Monday, Monday

Lunch with Spencer, great gas prices. Carrie's surgery this afternoon was very much needed as her gall bladder had ruptured.

Happy Birthday, Uncle Jimmy!

We had to wish Uncle Jimmy a happy birthday by phone with our childcare duties. We visited Carrie and will keep her in our prayers for a safe and successful surgery tomorrow. We left downtown as the storm clouds began to threaten.

Day 3

Of Carrie's hospitalization. Daniel has 2 to 3 ounces every 2 hours. We have learned to have the next bottle ready! Spencer is a good sport, but sleeps sideways. He is doing good in Jack's bed, but has chairs along the open side cushioned by pillows.

2015 - Happy New Year!

Good times with family until Carrie was admitted to MUSC on New Year's Eve. So I came home about midnight to take care of the boys. Every 2 hour feedings make for a short night. Carrie is getting IVs of antibiotics and pain medicine before surgical excision of her gall bladder. Charlotte and I took the boys to visit this afternoon while Poppy took Maddie back.
