Sweet September Weekend

Maddie had a visit on Saturday (The first since May). Home Team in the evening. Pedicures on Sunday am,  Sullivan's Island in the afternoon.

The last weekend of summer 2017

It is a good thing that summer may officially end this week, but many beautiful days to come in the Lowcountry.

Irma on the opposite coast!

Wind, rain, flooding, tornado warnings, fallen trees, limbs, etc from Beaufort to Charleston.
We spent the day riding out the storm inside, taking cover once in the hallway during a tornado warning.
No injuries, no real damage, and a free tree limbing in our backyard.

Storm watch

Maddie was out of school on Friday as Charleston Cty schools closed for 3 days for Irma. We went to Folly on Saturday to check out the surf. Charlotte, after a week of work, went to Mass with us on Sunday and brunch at Bagel Nation. She sat in the truck as the rest of us took a walk on the Battery. Charlotte said she had already exceeded her number of steps for the month!

Labor Day weekend

Chores, shopping, etc on a rainy Saturday. Edisto Beach on Sunday. The pool on Monday morning. Tutoring on Monday afternoon while Poppy went fishing. Maddie and I went for a walk at Shem Creek before meeting Poppy for dinner.

Best of all, Charlotte had to work every day.
