A Quiet Weekend

A little more time with my sister and family on Friday. Some shopping on Friday and Saturday. Maddie is almost set for back to school. Poppy took Maddie shopping while I attended a memorial service on Sunday. One of our hospice youth recently passed away after a valiant fight with cancer. Savor every moment of this life.

A Folly Thursday

Charlotte would not join us until dinner this evening. Maddie  and I had brunch at Bagel Nation on James Island. We enjoyed an afternoon on Folly with my family.

Wednesday at Folly Beach

I am taking a few days off to visit with my sister and family. They live in Wisconsin so we do not get to visit often enough. A rainy morning turned into a lovely and crowd free afternoon on the beach.

Family Fun

My sister and family are on vacation at Folly Beach this week. We enjoyed a day on the beach and a family dinner at Home Team BBQ.

The Beaufort Water Festival

Maddie accompanied me to a work event at the Beaufort Water Festival Thursday afternoon. A good evening with our foster families. We took the time for a mid morning  walk before returning to Charleston this afternoon.

A slip and slide weekend.

Maddie earned a slip and slide. She enjoyed playing on it when it wasn't storming. A friend also came over for a swim lesson.  Charlotte joined us one evening for dinner after work. We tried the new Community Pizza for lunch on Sunday and celebrated National Ice Cream Day at Baskin Robbins.

Kiawah Sunday

We had a good day at the beach, picked up Charlotte from work and had dinner at Andolini's Pizza. Poor Maddie was so tired from riding waves all day with cousin Katie. Maddie had tennis camp this past week, returns to tennis camp in the mornings this week and a Lego building camp in the afternoons.

Low key this weekday holiday. Pool time during the day, small bike parade in the afternoon.

Grandma Nancy's 78th birthday on 06/30, pool time on Saturday, Poppa went fishingSaturday evening while the ladies went out for dinner, mass on Sunday while Charlotte worked.
