February: azaelas and Dr. Suess

The azaelas are blooming throughout the lowcountry. Maddie's crazy hat today met the theme of Dr. Suess Week.

Sunny weekend

Warm temps on Saturday (low 80s), but cooler on Sunday (upper 60s). Isle of Palms (too crowded already) and Sullivan's Island on Saturday. Mass and an oyster roast and bbq on Sunday.

SEWE Sunday

Maddie had morning preschool to entertain the boys. We went to the Southeastern Wildlife Expo, but avoided the art venues (the littles are the touch everything types). We met up with Alene and children. We ended the day with a dance party after dinner.

Saturday Visit

Carrie and the boys came over in the afternoon. Poppy smoked a pork butt all day so the air was sweet with bbq!

Sunny and mid 70s February

Maddie spent time in her playhouse bith afternoons this beautiful weekend.

Kingston Resort

I attended a conference a few days last week. Poppy brought Maddie up on Friday afternoon for a post conference weekend.
