Poppy had to go to Greenville on Friday for probate court. Charlotte joined us for a little lunch, shopping and pizza by the pool Saturday evening. Sunday @ Palmetto Islands County Park for all but Charlotte as she must have had to rest up from Saturday.
Good weekend as Maddie learned to surf. We went to a fashion show with music by Candice Glover. Strong aggressive issues in the mornings and evenings, probably related to antiseizure medication. Meds were changed at a MUSC Pediatric Neurology appointment. School has been positive thus far. Mimi and work crew were on Channel 2 news on Wednesday evening - interviews and a phone bank to raise awareness of the need for foster parents.
Our not so eager 5th grader has been quite a challenge. We enjoyed the aquarium on Sunday, the first day of school went well on Monday. Pretend seizures to get out of class the second day, incredible acting out at home the third day, MUSC today, over the top acting out this afternoon. Why? "School is boring. I am practically grown. I don't need school."
A good evening tonight with Carrie and family as they were back in town to close on their house.
A busy weekend with shopping and pool time. Charlotte's oral surgery on Monday. Work meeting in Columbia on Tuesday, ice cream social/back to school supplies distribution at work on Wednesday, Meet the Teacher with Madison today. Happy birthday to my little brother, David, as he turns 50 today. Island Dave's Margarita Mix is quite yummy and a best seller at Total Wines.
