Memorial Day 2016

The remnants of Tropical Storm Bonnie gave us cloudy skies and intermittent rain. It was a beautiful day, cooling breezes rustled through the palmetto and cedar trees  at Palmetto Islands County Park.

A Bonnie weekend, Tropical Storm Bonnie!

Rain, more rain, flooding, thunder storms, etc, on Saturday  and Sunday. We went to the movies on Saturday. The Jungle Book was a good remake of and old favorite.  The eye of the storm made landfall across Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms this morning. We went out to Folly in the afternoon as it was the first area where the rain bands let up.

Visiting and Relaxing

We visited sweet family in Columbia on Saturday. Madison and I spent most of Sunday at the pool. Felix must have been really tired from helping Poppy with the playhouse. Poor pup crashed on the floor instead of his bed.

Busy Weekend

Sat am at the pool, some work on playhouse, a cookout. Palmetto Islands County Park and Jack's Cosmic Dogs on Sunday.

State Museum

Our annual work retreat was held at the SC Museum in Columbia today. A good day, a growing organization. Good to work with so many people whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of youth. Also good to be part of the winning scavenger team!

Happy Mother's Day

Poppy and Charlotte went fishing most of the day. Maddie and I went to the nail salon, then spent the afternoon at the pool.

A good day.

Charlotte went fishing with the boys. Maddie went to Beaufort with me for a work event. We met up in the evening for Charlotte's birthday dinner.

Isle of Palms Sunday

A good day, a nap, sunshine, dinner at Med Deli on Daniel Island.
