The cats napped inside. Maddie had a visit with her Mom and they walked dogs and played with cats at the Charleston Humane Society. Mom bought a new ride after a few days of car pooling with Poppy.

Goodnight Irene

 Birdiemae Irene Eubanks Obituary -- Birdiemae Irene Mullinax Eubanks, 99, widow of Elliott Eubanks, died January 16, 2015 at her home. A native of Pelzer, SC, daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Maybell Blair Mullinax, and she was a retired employee of M. Lowenstein Mills. She was a faithful member and Sunday school teacher of Lyman First Baptist Church. She was the last surviving member of her family. Surviving are four daughters Marian Brookshire (Bill) of Taylors, SC, Linda Vaughn (Judson) of Hoschton, GA, Judy Boyles (John) of Duncan, SC, Jackie Owens (Dean) of Emporia, KS, a son, Richard Eubanks (Margo) of Easley, SC, twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Frances Foster, a son David Eubanks, four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 19th at Lyman First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Scott Stancil, Rev. Jim Carey, Rev. J. N. McFadden, Rev. George Jones, and Rev. Jay Thompson. Burial will be conducted Wednesday, 11:00 AM in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM Monday at Narthex at Lyman First Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their loving care and kindness, especially Sally Cheek, RN, Judy Robb, CNA, and Beverly Kemnitzer, Social Worker and also Marty and Kay Brown. The families are at the home.

We had to wish Uncle Jimmy a happy birthday by phone with our childcare duties. We visited Carrie and will keep her in our prayers for a safe and successful surgery tomorrow. We left downtown as the storm clouds began to threaten.

Day 3

Of Carrie's hospitalization. Daniel has 2 to 3 ounces every 2 hours. We have learned to have the next bottle ready! Spencer is a good sport, but sleeps sideways. He is doing good in Jack's bed, but has chairs along the open side cushioned by pillows.
