The First Sunday of Advent

The playhouse/washing machine box now has a puppy door and a mail slot. Football in the afternoon as UT won (barely) as did Clemson! The kids played outside in the sunshine in the afternoon.

Black Friday

We did a little shopping - for a new sofa. We were reminded that the darling duo are not so darling when it is not about them. Leftovers for dinner, of course.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We visited Great Grandma Nancy, walked around downtown to burn off some energy, and had Thanksgiving dinner with Aunt Carrie and Uncle Wes.

Beaufort on a Monday

Rain, wind, but temps in the 70s.

Stormy Sunday

We slept in to the sound of rain until 8:30! Poppy and Jack came home this afternoon. Sweet Daniel and family joined us for dinner.

November Saturday

Cool, but sunny weather today. Cheap gas, shopping for a new washing machine, Maddie has new slipper socks. Poppy and Jack visited relatives in TR including Cousin Olivia B.

Friday evening follies.

Jack and Poppy are on a road trip to Travelers  Rest.  I endured dinner with the Bobbsey twins.

Meeting Daniel

We visited Daniel on the way home from school today. Jack's glasses came in today as well.

Daniel had a big day (snip in the am and discharged home this afternoon.)

Happy birthday, Wes!

A great birthday present. They will be able to celebrate two days in a row in the future.

Daniel arrived at 5:03 pm, 8lbs & 1oz, 20 inches long.

Rainy Cool Weekend

Some shopping on Saturday and a late lunch with KT (first contact w/ kids in 2 weeks.) Poppy took the kids to church on Sunday while Mimi checked on Carrie (at the hospital 2xs in 5 hours so they kept her overnight to ease distress.)

Friday in Columbia

In Columbia before 9 am (one makes good time if you have to drop the kids off at school in Summerville just after 7 am).  Good speaker at Palmetto Power meeting at Metro Convention  Center. Made it back to Summerville  by 5:30 to pick up the kids.

J and M spent a little excess energy after mass and lunch.

Magnolia Gardens

Aunt Carrie labored thru our walks today. Aunt Charlotte helped herd the littles. Uncle Wes did a geo-gps hunt in the gardens. Poppy enjoyed  a child free day as he went fishing.

Something about a boy.

Jack did not want to do his homework this morning since the kids were out of school. A couple of tantrums later, a melt down at his eye exam, some fun at therapy, and happiness finally with his new Batman  pjs. Maddie has a new robe so she can put Charlotte's  robe back.

Chilly Sunday

It was quite chilly much of today. Jack has been a grumpy boy ( but 2 fewer tantrums than yesterday's  record of 9). Everyone played outside this afternoon while the adults cleaned house.
