Best Friends

We have been house bound with the flu since Wednesday evening. Tamiflu and Aleve prescribed for all. The pets enjoyed spending a lot of time lounging around inside. Josie and Felix went outside for short periods of time to enjoy a little sunshine.
Alley (14) and Vince (4) share nap space - at a distance.

Bella, Carrie's cat, is visiting and found a perch in the loft for a nap.

Felix (8) is hoping for a biscuit.

Josie (12) at work.

The Guilt Trip (2012) Official Trailer HD

We saw this one Christmas night and were pleasantly surprised by the sweetness of the movie.

This Is 40 - Official Trailer 4 [HD]

We saw this one last weekend. I must say that I laughed throughout most of the movie, but the outtakes after the credits were hilarious. NOT for Children or Teens.

Friday afternoon @ the IOP and Town Centre

Maddie was still full of energy so we went to the County Park in the afternoon.

The "don't get wet" admonition went unheeded.
So a change of clothing was necessary before meeting Kristy and Jack @ Town Centre.
They rode the Christmas train. We all went into Victoria's Secret so Kristy could make an exchange. Jack held his mom's hand as they stood in line. Maddie and I walked around the store for a minute, but her hands touched everything. We walked by Kristy on our way out the door and Maddie stopped to say something to her mother."Mom, I know Victoria's secret ... her panties are too small."

Santa seemed to rcognize Maddie and had some words for her about listening to her parents, doing what she is told without being told twice (or 14 times) and to do her best to be a good girl everyday at home and at school. Kristy asked Maddie what Santa said (as though we hadn't heard) as we walked towrds the cars. Maddie replied, "He said don't worry about dropping your clothes on the floor or your trash and for
J- A-C-K to be nicer to me."
