Low Country Adventures @ the Jetties & in the Wando

Gene took David, my brother, and Zach, my nephew, fishing this morning at the Jetties. They mostly caught spanish mackeral. Kristy, Maddie and Jack met Gene at Remley's Point after lunch and they went riding on the Wando. I met up with them at the fishing dock @ Palmetto Park and rode along for awhile. Maddie loved it as usual, but Jack was pretty tired and hot by the time I met them. No on call next week so I should be able to go along for the day on Father's Day.Charlotte wanted to stay home in the ac.

Amelia Island

A couple of days on Amelia Island with Charlotte's Uncle Mark and family to wind up our trip.It was good to watch the kids' tennis lesson and to spend time on the beach at Fort Clinch State Park. Yes, that is Charlotte upright on the beach without a gameboy!

Venice Beach

A stop in Venice Beach on the way north to check out the dark gray sand. I think it is from the nearby phosphate mines.

Sunset on the Gulf

Lunch at Doc's Beach House on Bonita Beach and sunset at Vanderbilt Beach.

Happy Birthday Lori

We celebrated Lori's birthday at a sushi bar (the girls' choice for their mom) and spent the afternoon at the pool. Charlotte actually put the gameboy down at one point and went swimming with the Julia and Joanna.

Low Country Adventures on the Road

Memorial Day weekend in Naples, Florida. Time with my sister, Lori, her husband, Jerry, and my nieces, Julia and Joanna. It has been several years since we celebrated Lori's birthday in person. We spent all of Saturday on Vanderbilt Beach.
